Our Christmas shopping in Snohomish was wonderfully interrupted with harmonized reminders of the true meaning of Christmas.
Snohomish is a quaint town, packed with antique stores and unique food stops, a perfect place to Christmas shop on a Sunday afternoon.
As the sun was setting and the well-decorated streets were lighting up, these carolers appeared and sang the traditional songs of the birth of our Savior. We stopped and savored the moment.
After all, it was out in public in Washington, on the same street where 30 minutes previously, a patron chewed out a store clerk for wishing him a “Merry Christmas.”
Americans love the freedom of speech, we always have and always well.
And that freedom includes the freedom of song.
We were so blessed by these women who took time during the busy holiday season to provide a beautiful backdrop to our holiday shopping and remind us why we’re celebrating.
Merry CHRISTmas!
